Symbolic Truth Middle East Graphics site

This website was created (beginning on September 17th 2002) in order to make available the graphics that I've been devising to illustrate my Usenet postings on the middle east (but which couldn't really conveniently or appropriately be posted to Usenet). All the graphic files are basically in the public domain as far as I'm concerned -- feel free to redistribute them, to copy them onto your own server, or to modify them (as long as you don't distort the message). Your browser must have PNG image capability (as most versions released after 1996 do) in order to view the flag and protest sign thumbnails listed in the table of contents below.

Update log (does not include minor tweaks):
November 2002 -- Added the "Saudia in Partes Tres" graphic, a JPEG which explains the "Uqtulu al-Yahud" motto, the Hezbollah/Hezb-e-Sheitan flag, and "The Qur'an recognizes the historical connection between the Jewish people and the Holy Land of Israel" documentation graphic.
December 2002 -- Added "True motto of pseudo-Intifada" graphic and 1947 Arab rejectionism consequences map informational graphic.
January 5, 2003 -- The "Symbolic Truth" site returns, after having been mindlessly hacked by apparent "script kiddies" on December 17th. To celebrate my return, I'm offering a mitigated limited qualified olive branch to the Palestinians, by adding a Biblical definition of the Land of Israel map graphic, which (among other things), explains one of the reasons why I support Amram Mitzna's proposal that Israel should unilaterally dismantle and evacuate all Gaza settlements.
February 2003 (Off-line) -- Added the "Brown-Red-Green Alliance" flag and "Suicide terrorism (which is not true martyrdom) leads to poverty" graphics.
March 2003 -- Back on-line. Added the "Shield of the Trinity" graphic (including a translated Arabic version).
May 9, 2003 -- Added the True meaning of "Hamas" and Only official Palestine flag graphics.
May 31, 2003 -- Added a single compendious multi-page PDF file which contains all the vector graphics on this web-page.
June 2, 2003 -- Added a reconstruction of the banner of the valiant Zanj Revolt (the Black African slave liberation movement resisting Arab oppression in southern Iraq during the years 869-883 A.D.). A complete website on the Zanj revolt is coming soon.
June 16, 2003 -- Added the Jerusalem was not an authentic "Islamic holy city" in early Islam documentation graphic.
July 15, 2003 -- Added the "Assadistan Royal Banner" (true Syrian flag) graphic.
August 8, 2003 -- Added the Traditional Islamic political theology diagram (Dar-ul-Harb Jihad = no peace).
September 17, 2003 -- To celebrate the first anniversary of my site, I added a "Resist Islamosupremacism!" animated graphic (wholly without symbols which some might find offensive).
October 3, 2003 -- Finally added the exact Arabic wording (taken from the Qur'an) which translates as "über alles" to the appropriate graphics.
October 15, 2003 -- Uploaded a preliminary placeholder page for my website on the Zanj Revolt (the Black African slave liberation movement resisting Arab oppression in southern Iraq during the years 869-883 A.D.). This placeholder includes all the graphics which will be included in the final page (however, the full version of the page will be much more detailed).
November 19, 2003 -- Added the "Peace if you can keep it..." (The meaning of Peace / Shalom / Salam) graphic. Also, split off some of the quotes on Saudi Arabia into a separate page.
December 16, 2003 -- Added the "Islamikaze" (The changing nature of morality in Islam) graphic.
January 26, 2004 -- A day or two ago, I made the rather bizarre discovery that a name for Jerusalem in Islam is "The third of the two holy sites" (thâlithu ´l-haramayni), and I then hastened to include this grotesquerie in my "Jerusalem was not an Islamic holy city" graphic.
May 3, 2004 -- Added the Iraqi "Rebel" Flag, the Mufti Husseini "Handschar" emblem, and the Nasserite Red-White-Black Horizontal Tricolor Considered Harmful graphic.
June 10, 2004 -- Added the "Mullah Yasser" Qur'an 8:60 turhibuna incitement graphic, and an explanation of the pre-Ba`thist 1959-1963 Iraqi flag in both SVG and GIF/PDF formats, and added an animated GIF expressing the true meaning of the Saudi-Wahhabi alliance to the separate page of quotes on Saudi Arabia.
August 2004 -- The full (GIF or PDF) versions of many older graphics have been enhanced, and almost all Arabic-language errors have been eliminated (I hope).
September 2004 -- For the site's second anniversary (and in commemoration of the Beersheba bombing), added a True Meaning of "Palestine" graphic and Ibn Taymiyyah on the Islamic sanctity of Jerusalem graphic.
January 9, 2005 -- Added a separate page on the most corect original pronunciation of the name of Jesus as a further explanation to the "Shield of the Trinity" graphic.
May 28, 2005 -- Added an interactive multilingual "Shield of the Trinity" SVG graphic to a separate page.
July 14, 2005 -- Added a separate page on an idea for Tengwar Arabic Mode system for writing the Arabic language with Tolkien's Tengwar alphabet.
July 14, 2005 -- Added historical versions of the "Shield of the Trinity" diagram to the separate page.
September 13, 2005 -- Added a map of early ancient historical Israel (the Biblical United Monarchy) to a separate page.

A highly interesting and significant historical mapTaba (January 2001) Israeli "final status" Proposal Map
This historical map reveals the fact that the borders of what the PLO chooses to call "historical Palestine" were in fact the result of arbitrary lines drawn on the map by British colonial officials in the early 1920's. You can use this map in conjunction with the maps at MidEastWeb to easily verify that a territorial unit with boundaries similar to that of the 1923-1947 British League of Nations Palestine Mandate never existed at any time in history under the name of "Palestine" prior to the early 1920's. (In fact, no independent sovereign political entity with the name "Palestine" has ever existed.) So much for so-called "Historic Palestine", as the PLO propagandists try to portray it! There was a "historic Palestine", but it was a small province of the Arab caliphal empire (not a "nation" or a "country"), its capital was first at Lod, then at nearby Ramla (never Jerusalem), its boundaries were completely different, and it didn't exist during the 400 years of Turkish rule preceding 1917. The only way that the Palestinians can call the 1923-1947 borders of the British Palestine Mandate territory using the rather loaded term "Historic Palestine" is to admit that their history began in 1919-1923 (with the lines drawn on the map by colonialists during that period)! Of course a distinct separatist Palestinian "national" identity in the modern sense dates from even later. The map below is pretty much the Israeli final offer at the Taba "final status" talks in January 2001 (according to a Palestinian source). This map is of interest because it shows an offer probably pretty similar to one Arafat would have been able to obtain at Camp David in July 2000 (or fairly soon thereafter) if he had actually been willing to get down to hard bargaining there, instead of merely chanting the mantra of his well-known past inflexible and dogmatic positions (and thus wantonly and pointlessly squandering away the Camp David negotiating opportunity) -- and also because on June 21st 2002 Arafat said that he was then willing to accept basically this same Taba proposal. (That was only three days before Bush unceremoniously gave Arafat the bum's rush in his June 24th 2002 speech -- how coincidental!) Taba may or may not have any relevance for the future, despite the Palestinians' favorite underhanded negotiating trick of treating any tentative contingent conditional proposals on the Israeli side as an absolute minimum or "floor" in all subsequent negotiations, while never making any significant matching concessions on their own side -- the Palestinians have already tried to use this shabby "ratchet up one side only" strategy one too many times.

The Symbolic Truth about the Middle East, and what America is fighting

This site contains some created flags, protest signs, and informational graphics which symbolically express the truth about the Middle East situation, and what America is fighting against since 9/11 -- go to Jonah Goldberg's June 21, 2002 article in the National Review for a partial key to the symbolism (of course, the real reason I devised certain of these graphics was to vent my own personal feelings, and to show the suicide-terrorist supporters, khilafah advocates, Wahhabis, mindless natterers about the wacky "4000 Jews" 9/11 conspiracy theory etc. etc. exactly what I think of them all).

Logical Table of Contents:

The following hierarchical table of contents classifies the graphics on this page into their logical categories by subject. The graphics themselves are not presented in this order, since I tend to keep the graphics I am most satisfied with at the top, and because the layout of the graphics is constrained by the need to group them into tables whose forced minimum width is less than a thousand pixels (if feasible).

Graphics available in multiple formats, and animated images:

These graphics are available in three formats: a minimum-filesize web-page icon (in PNG image format, in order to decrease the loading time of this page), a large rendered GIF image, and a scalable Adobe PDF vector version (which can be viewed in the Adobe Acrobat reader software, downloadable from the Adobe.com site). [See technical footnote.] There are also three animated GIFs and one vector SVG. Click on the small thumbnail images below to view or download the GIF and PDF graphics, or right-click on the thumbnails to save the PNG graphics to your local disk. There are also a few alternative versions of some graphics, which can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate text links. Where there is both a PDF and a GIF version of a graphic, the vector PDF file is generally much smaller in filesize (length in bytes) than the corresponding large rendered GIF file. (The great majority of PDF and PNG files are less than 20k bytes in filesize, and the great majority of GIF files are less than 100k in size.)

Biblical Definition of the Land of Israel Map
(one reason for leaving the Gaza settlements now):
Qur'anic Zionism documentation?
A moderately detailed map of the Biblical definition of the Land of Israel with a number of annotations; this map reveals (among many other things) that Gaza was not part of the Biblical Land of Israel (but in fact was the homeland of ancient Israel's constant enemies, the Philistines). This is one among several reasons why I support Amram Mitzna's proposal [2/2004 update: now also Sharon's proposal!] that Israel should unilaterally (unconditionally and "with all deliberate speed") evacuate the Gaza strip settlements (though I don't necessarily agree with all of Mitzna's other proposals). Some of the other reasons are that abandoning the Gaza settlements would not be any kind of reward to the Palestinians for terrorism -- because it's obvious to everybody that the Gaza settlements simply aren't viable, and that they're going to have to go sooner or later in any case. If there's any territory that Israel wants to hold on to at the moment in order to retain effective military "force projection" over the Gaza strip, then Israel should frankly admit that it's holding onto the land for that reason, and not supposedly in order to "guard settlers" (in fact, the Israeli army would be able to conduct itself more efficiently in Gaza if it didn't have the distraction of worrying about protecting the settlers). On the other side, this map also reveals why claims of a supposed "secret Zionist Nile-to-Euphrates conquest plan" are merely pure 100% propaganda lies (see the annotations in the GIF and PDF versions of the graphic).

The boundaries of the Biblical land of Israel in the map include the territories assigned to the 12 tribes of Israel and/or the near-maximum boundaries of the early Israelite kingdoms -- excluding states (such as Damascus, Geshur, Ammon, Moab, and Edom) which sometimes acknowledged some degree of Israelite suzerainty or overlordship, but were not integral or directly-administered parts of any Israelite kingdom (nor areas of heavy Israelite settlement during the United Monarchy period). If any one particular source had more influence than all others in determining the extent of the "pink" area on the map, it was probably the Administrative Districts of Solomon's Kingdom Map, map no. 113 on page 86 of the MacMillan Bible Atlas (3rd edition, 1993) by Yohanan Aharoni, Michael Avi-Yonah, Anson F. Rainey, and Ze'ev Safrai. Only those cities are shown on the map which were capital cities, or were important landmarks in demarcating ancient Israel or Judea.
(For a simpler and more neutral version of this map, see the separate page.)

In light of the fact that many so-called "anti-Zionist" Muslims spend a lot of time trying to deny any historical connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel, or manufacturing revisionist myths that no Jewish temple ever existed in Jerusalem (as Yasser Arafat did at the Camp David summit of July 2000), it's highly interesting that the Qur'an itself flatly affirms the existence of a strong and divinely-ordained bond between the Jewish people (or "Children of Israel") and the Holy Land of Israel. Of course, few Muslims would be willing to admit that these passages (excerpted from verses 20-21 of Surah 5 and verse 104 of Sura 17) provide any support from Islam for Jewish rights to territory now -- this is partly because the Qur'an also includes records of Muhammad's waverings in his attitudes towards Jews (and Christians), sometimes cajoling and wheedling them, and at other times vaguely denouncing them and issuing obscurely-worded threats against them (depending on the passing political situation of the moment, and the temporary state of the balance between Muhammad's hopes that he could entice Jews and Christians to accept Islam, and his fears that they would reject his message). Nevertheless, it's quite revealing to see how many Muslims feel free to ignore the Qur'an whenever they find its words (such as those recognizing the historical connection between the Jewish people and the Holy Land of Israel) to be inconvenient! But there is at least one Muslim, Abdul Hadi Palazzi of Italy, who is willing to state publicly that the excerpts from the Qur'an quoted in the graphic below do have some relevance to the current political situation.

Note: In the graphic below, the special Qur'anic orthography is largely translated into standard modern Arabic orthography, partly for clarity when a full array of diacritics is not used (but also because the font I use does not contain all the special Qur'anic symbols, and because I don't have enough experience with Qur'anic orthography to be able to detect any mistakes I might make). If this offends you, you can go to on-line Qur'an sites to see the original (and only slightly different) spelling.
Here are the Qur'an quotes in Arabic textual form (if you have a properly-configured internationalized browser): قال موسى (٢٠) يا قومِ ادخلوا الأرض المقدسة التي كتب الله لكم (٢١) وقلنا لبني إسرائيل اسكنوا الأرض (١٠٤)‏

Suicide Terrorism (which is not "martyrdom") is self-defeating:A protest sign calling for freeing Arabia from Saudi tyranny:
The Palestinians are making their own lives worse and choosing to impoverish themselves by persisting in their violence binge of immoral criminal suicide terrorism. As long as they choose to build up their repulsive little Cult of Death-Worship and Child Sacrifice by their perverse glorification and and enthusiastic celebration of nihilistic acts which achieve nothing and have no goal other than to kill civilians purely and solely for the sake of killing civilians, then there will be no peace or justice. Murderers are not martyrs! Here are some quotes from Madeleine Albright:

"I don't remember George Washington and Paul Revere telling their sons to blow themselves up in order to kill British children." -- Her response to the special pleading of Arab leaders who claimed that Hamas and Hezbollah etc. were "patriots" who by definition couldn't be considered terrorists.
"There is no moral equivalency between suicide bombers and bulldozers, between killing innocent people and building houses". -- Speech of August 6, 1997.
"Certainly the Israelis could be faulted for the extremism of some, and more generally for their policy on settlements. But the core failure was the Palestinians' obsessive focus not on how much could be gained but on the relatively little they would be required to give up. They wouldn't yield a dime to make a dollar. If Arafat had chosen differently, Palestine would now be a member of the United Nations, its capital in East Jerusalem. Its people would be able to travel freely between the West Bank and Gaza. Its airport and seaport would be operating. Palestinian refugees would be receiving compensation and help in resettling. Instead the Palestinians have their legalisms, their misery, and their terror." --Madam Secretary

Here's a condensed excerpt of an article by Barry Rubin:

Arafat and the movement did not take advantage of opportunities -- ranging from the pre-Arafat 1947 partition plan through Oslo and other examples -- to achieve a state; gather in the exiles; and build a Palestinian identity, culture, economy, and polity. One principal underlying reason for the failure to change, and reap a large -- if not total -- reward and benefit in doing so, was a refusal to clearly and irreversibly accept a two-state solution. There is a strong unwillingness to close the door to a "second stage" in which the main goal would be Israel's elimination. And by failing to show an interest in anything but high politics and armed struggle, Arafat disdained the kind of economic, educational, institution-building, and other kinds of activities needed to achieve a state. Several other persisting problems were endemic in the movement. The implicit revolutionary doctrine developed by Arafat and Fatah blended Islam, Marxism-Leninism, Arab nationalism, and Third World radicalism.
-- Their basic beliefs and analysis all argued that victory was certain and, consequently, any compromise short of wiping out Israel would be both treasonous and unnecessary. Therefore, it would be very hard to accept any other solution, or even have an open debate on goals, without the more moderate side being called traitors. Achieving a Palestinian state was, for all practical purposes, always subordinate to getting all of the land. If there was a contradiction between these two goals the harder line would always have the advantage.
-- There was the absolute glorification of violence as simultaneously the movement's highest value and its foundation. As Article 9 of the PLO's Charter makes clear, "Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine and is therefore a strategy and not tactic." Moreover, there were never any moral constraints placed on that tool. At most, the timing of a specific attack might be wrong or inconvenient. The Palestinians were guiltless victims entitled to use any means to redress their grievances. Since, in Arafat's words, Israel was "An embodiment of neo-Nazism... intellectual terrorism and racial exploitation" there need be no restraint on Palestinian tactics. But this was a dangerous concept: Violence justified as the highest value would become an end in itself, crowding out diplomacy and delegitimizing compromise. Moreover, this was a creed of violence without limit in which any act of terror and any murder could be justified as heroic and beyond criticism. The Palestinian public would not only accept such behavior but would cheer it, and flock to join those capable of such deeds of revenge.
Arafat's refusal to articulate a positive goal -- and any competing value such as better lives for the people, an end to death or suffering, or the actual enjoyment of a peaceful national existence -- also made violence and permanent revolution ends in themselves that would ultimately block any other approach. According to this doctrine, the way to victory was not a pragmatic adjustment to reality but rather having a correct political line. You could get everything you want without compromise, and to demand all without making any concessions was simply a matter of justice. The true hero was not he who achieved material improvements and benefits for his people but the one who did not bend no matter what the cost. But if there is no "good society" to look forward to, how can the vision of material achievement based on compromise overcome endless battle for an unreachable objective of total victory no matter what the cost? How can humanitarian values or even tactical limits be introduced into the movement? The Palestinian strategy was based on the old mix of terror (to make Israel surrender) and pity (to gain international support and intervention).

A sign pointing out where the real need for "regime change" is: The despotic Saudi regime is spending billions of dollars around the world in pursuit of its scheme to make Wahhabism (the religion of the Taliban) the only acceptable form of Islam, and wherever Wahhabi influence is on the rise, it is exactly in those places that radical anti-American sentiment and recruits for terrorist organizations are also on the rise. So if Saudi Arabia does not begin to reform itself, then it is highly necessary to the peace of the world and the security of America that the extremist fringe-fundamentalist hate sect of Wahhabism (which is radically opposed to all values of freedom and democracy) should no longer be supported by the wealth of Gulf-region oil wells, nor by its illegitimate domination over the two Islamic holy cities. Then we should free Arabia by splitting the Saudi tyranny into its three natural parts: Hejaz-alHarameyn (containing the two holy cities of Mecca and Medina), Gulf-Petrolia or الأحساء والدهناء (the east coast with its natural resources), and last and least, Nejd-Wahhabistan (the barren desert which was the historic homeland of Wahhabism before aggressive Saudi imperialism brought the two coastal regions under its brutal oppressive occupation less than eighty years ago). "SAUDIA OMNIS IN PARTES TRES DIVIDENDA EST" is a Latin sentence which means "All of Saudi Arabia must be split into three parts" (and which might just possibly contain a classical allusion or two).

"The Shiites who dominate the oil-rich eastern province... are encouraged by the march of the Shiites in the south of Iraq. Any change in the system would, they believe, re-establish their rightful control over the major oil fields. The Hijazis, who belong to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina... have also suffered second-class status and their religious sites have been demolished by the Wahhabis. Many Hijazis still regard the Hashemites as legitimate rulers of their region, 75 years after they were forced out by the Al Saud family."
-- International Herald Tribune January 8, 2004

"According to Sami Angawi (self-proclaimed Sufi leader of the Hijaz), Wahhabism -- imported from Najd, the central region of Saudi Arabia -- gradually had eroded the historic Hijazi urban culture of tolerance and diversity. His audience -- wearing modest but colorful traditional Hijazi dresses, instead of the all-enveloping black gown of the Najd -- have grown up with stories about Wahhabi massacres in the mountain resort of Taif near Jidda. Wahhabi domination had led to the destruction or neglect of almost all of the Islamic and pre-Islamic history of the Hijaz. `Most of the Islamic heritage in Hijaz has been destroyed by the Saudi government and their Wahhabi clan', said Ali al-Ahmed. [This refers to the wanton vandalism of the 1925 Wahhabi pillaging of Mecca, among other incidents...] Mr. Angawi's message was clear: The roots of global Islamist terrorism can be traced back to the fanatical puritanism of the Bedouin zealots known as the Wahhabis."
-- "Wahhabism splits Saudis" by John R. Bradley, The Washington Times Feb. 4th 2004.

"Saudi Arabia is the world's leading financier of religious bigotry, militant medievalism, sectarian violence and the subjugation of women. It is the Taliban with money." -- Paul Sheehan

"We can't get around the fact that the House of Saud underwrites the mosque schools that turn out the jihadists, just as it administers the charities that fund the jihadists. It channels the anger of the jihadists against the west to distract it from the rot in the House of Saud." -- Robert Baer, Sleeping with the Devil

You can also go to a separate page of quotes on Saudi Arabia ; this includes a quote revealing Gloria Steinem's apparent "neo-con" streak, as well as an animated graphic expressing the true meaning of the Saudi-Wahhabi alliance.

(Apologies to any who are offended by `Asir being lumped in with Hijaz, but distinguishing `Asir would complicate the map, and destroy the classical allusion!)

1947 Arab Rejectionism Consequences Map:The meaning of "Peace" (Shalom / Salam)
An informational map graphic which clearly shows that in 1947 the Arabs of the British Palestine mandate were offered an international guarantee of a sovereign state which would have included much more land than they're likely to get now (i.e. the combination of the green and pink areas below), but the Arabs at that time chose to vehemently and violently reject the UN plan (and in fact rigidly and inflexibly spurned the very concept of partition, and refused to even consider any plan which would have allowed the Jews to have national sovereignty over any territory whatsoever within the British mandate). While the Jews did accept the 1947 UN partition plan, the Arabs were against any compromise which would have required any modification of their absolutist maximalist theoretical claims, and so rejected the international guarantee in the partition plan, and instead freely chose to start a war (with the goal of taking everything and leaving the Jews nothing). The Arabs of their own free will staked their future on the uncertain outcome of a war they chose to start, and so effectively entered on a huge double-or-nothing bet -- and they don't have anyone but themselves to blame for intentionally choosing to gamble. In effect, the Arabs in 1947 considered that denying all political and territorial sovereignty to the Jews was a higher priority than gaining sovereignty for themselves. Of course, in the end the Arabs ended up hurting themselves most of all by their all-or-nothing attitude of "the good is the enemy of the best", or "I would rather go hungry than accept half a loaf of bread, if my accepting half a loaf would mean that my enemy will also receive any bread at all". As has been said, "The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity".

View the GIF or PDF versions of this graphic for a full key which explains the color-coded regions on the map.

Peace is more than merely an absence of war or violence. If there is no confidence in the good-will or peaceful intentions of the other side, then at best only a hostile truce exists (no matter what treaties and agreements may say). And if one side in a war openly boasts about using immoral and criminal tactics, then they have dehumanized their enemies and have in effect declared an "existential" war to the death, in which the other side must either prevail or cease to be -- and such a conflict is not susceptible to a truly peaceful settlement until attitudes change, and each side accepts the legitimate existence of the other. Justice should not be sacrificed in the name of "peace"; but until peace is given a positive value (seen as beneficial and desirable in itself) -- instead of merely being grudgingly and hesitantly conceded as a last-resort second-best coerced pis aller -- there will be little justice, and no peace worthy of the name. Thus a recent poll reports that "47% of Jewish Israelis rank `peace' as their highest value. By comparison, only 23% of Palestinians choose peace first". The situation is not necessarily helped by traditional Islamic legal doctrine (political theology), according to which a cease-fire (hudna) or settlement agreement (sulh) can exist between Muslims and non-Muslims, but a state of "peace" (salâm), in the true meaning of the word, can only exist between and among Muslims.
"Egyptian Intellectuals: Peace means Arab Failure: Even for Egyptian intellectuals today, many years after the Peace Treaty, Israel's existence represents an admission of the defeat of the Arab national vision. It is a confession that Egypt has failed to realize its historical destiny and greatness." -- Meir Litvak

"Islamikaze" (The changing nature of morality in Islam):Jerusalem was not an Islamic holy city in early Islam:
The consensus of traditional mainstream Islamic legal interpretation had strict rules of war, which forbade almost all forms of terrorism (such as intentionally seeking to harm non-combatants). At that time, the word shahid ("martyr") meant someone dying in a battle for Islam -- including someone who engaged in a bold military charge or last stand, in which coming through alive might seem almost hopeless, but not including anyone committing any direct and immediate act of suicide, and most definitely NOT including anyone who targeted civilians as part of his death-struggle! However, nowadays numerous fanatic hate-mullahs and self-appointed Islamic legal "authorities" of modern Jihadi ideology (such as Qaradawi) seem to be eager to discard these prohibitions of traditional Islamic legal doctrine, in their unseemly rush to try to justify and legitimize suicide terrorism attacks. Since they have thus jettisoned what little universalism or religion-neutral "natural law" there ever was in Islam, in pursuit of their transient and ephemeral political passions, it seems that Islam has changed for the worse in recent years.
If Islamists perversely glory in and enthusiastically celebrate the blatant raw naked immorality of the suicide terrorism attacks against civilians which their own side commits in violation of all norms of international law and human-rights protection, then they're flagrant and transparent hypocrites when they noisily demand that their enemies obey the highest and strictest of ethical standards. If the only standard of right and wrong in modern Islam is that whatever is claimed to be done in the service of Islam or Muslims is necessarily and inherently "right" (regardless of the means used or the harm caused), then Islam is becoming a mere supremacist immoralist death-worshiping cult, and not a religion which is truly worthy of anyone's respect (like any ideology which flaunts its blatant violations of the basic universal morality detailed, for example, in C.S. Lewis's book The Abolition of Man). Murderers are not martyrs!
Donald Sensing writes that the term "Islamikazes" for murder-suicide terrorists actually "tarnishes the image of the Japanese kamikaze pilots of World war II":
"All of Japan's kamikaze pilots were properly enrolled members of the national armed forces of a legitimate nation-state. They wore regular uniforms. They did not attack by deceit, but openly. They attacked only completely legitimate military targets - American ships - and so all the casualties kamikazes caused were military casualties. When the Japanese surrendered, there were no rogue kamikaze pilots who continued to attack. When ordered to cease, they ceased. Compared to Palestinian murder-suicide bombers, the Japanese kamikaze pilots now seem positively noble."

Jerusalem was not an authentic "Islamic holy city" during the early years of Islam. The name of the city itself in early Arabic was 'Îliyâ', a continuation of the Latin name Ælia Capitolina, which the Roman Emperor Hadrian gave to the city around 131 A.D. -- after the Jewish temple had been destroyed and the Jews expelled from Jerusalem -- in order to commemorate the building of a Roman temple to "Juppiter Capitolinus" there. The name al-Quds ("the holy") for Jerusalem is not attested in any Arabic source until the Fatimid/Buwayhid period, over 300 years after the city was first conquered by the Arabs (during which time the capital of the Arabic caliphal province of Filastin was at Lod and Ramla, not Jerusalem). (The name "Bayt-ul-Maqdis" does occur in early Islam, but refers originally and primarily to the former Jewish temple site, and only secondarily to the whole city.) An elaborate tale of Muhammad's "night flight" to Jerusalem and "ascent" (mi`râj) from there has developed around certain cryptic passages in the Qur'an (verse 17:1, and the first part of sura or chapter 53), but there is nothing in the words of the Qur'an which connects these two passages, or indicates that either one of them makes any reference to Jerusalem. (Verse 17:1 speaks of the "farthest mosque", but there was certainly neither a mosque nor a Jewish temple in Jerusalem during Muhammad's lifetime.) And the fact that the extensive early Islamic inscriptions in the Dome of the Rock (on the temple mount site itself) make no mention whatsoever of Muhammad's "night flight" or "ascent", proves that the story of Muhammad's journey to Jerusalem was either completely unknown during the Umayyad Caliphate period (ca. 700 A.D.), or was not accepted by Islamic authorities at that time. (According to the Encyclopaedia of Islam, New Edition, article "Mi`râdj", the earliest Muslim interpretation of Qur'an verse 17:1 was that al-Masjid al-'Aqsâ or "the farthest mosque" refers to heaven, which explains how the idea of an "ascent" got started in the first place -- because otherwise, there's no mention of anything going upwards at all in Qur'an verse 17:1 or the first part of sura 53.) The Dome of the Rock was very obviously built in order to poke a finger into the eye of the Byzantine Emperor, and of Christians in general (declaring the supremacy of Islam over the "superseded" religion of Christianity), not to mark a site which was considered intrinsically or inherently holy to Islam.
The Muslim expression for Jerusalem thâlithu ´l-haramayni, literally "the THIRD of the TWO holy places" (or the alternative phrase thâlithu ´l-masjidayni "the THIRD of the TWO mosques") indicates that Jerusalem was an afterthought among Muslim holy cities -- by the time that Muslims got around to deciding that Jerusalem had a special status in Islam (below Mecca and Medina, but above all else in holiness), the expression al-haramâni or al-Harameyn ("the two holy places", referring to Mecca and Medina) had become accepted and established among Muslims, and it would have been considered bid`ah ("heretical innovation") to try to change it. Hence the adoption of the illogical expression "third of two".
Of course, Ibn Taymiyya denies that there is any Muslim haram at all in Jerusalem, as explained below.

Islamic Emirates and Dhimmi Protectorates of America Flag:Diagram of traditional Islamic political theology:
This flag symbolizes a goal of a number of Islamic extremists and internal Muslim fifth-columnists here: To establish a despotic tyrannical Islamic state in the United States in which (according to the mainstream consensus of traditional Islamic legal interpretation) all Christians and Jews would be "Dhimmis" -- or second-class citizens who have an inferior social status to Muslims (and so must pay extra taxes, are forbidden from participating in any way in the political system of the Muslim-dominated state, are not allowed to build new places of worship in cities, etc. etc.). Of course, non-monotheists or "idolators" might not even have the doubtful privilege of Dhimmi status available to them, but might face the pointed alternative of conversion to Islam or death. For an explanation, go to an article on the origins of the menace of Wahhabism and Islamo-supremacism written by a dry academic Arab intellectual (who is by no means an alarmist).According to traditional mainstream Islamic legal doctrine, a cease-fire (hudna) or settlement agreement (sulh) can exist between Muslims and non-Muslims, but a state of "peace" (salâm), in the true meaning of the word, can only exist between and among Muslims.
"This obligation of jihâd is without limit of time or space. It must continue until the whole world has either accepted the Islamic faith or submitted to the power of the Islamic state. Until that happens, the world is divided into two: the House of Islam (dâr al-Islâm), where Muslims rule and the law of Islam prevails; and the House of War (dâr al-Harb), comprising the rest of the world. Between these two, there is a morally necessary, legally and religiously obligatory state of war, until the final and inevitable triumph of Islam over unbelief. According to the law books, this state of war could be interrupted, when expedient, by an armistice or truce of limited duration. It could not be terminated by a peace, but only by a final victory."
- Bernard Lewis, The Political Language of Islam (1986, Chicago: The University of Chicago Press), chapter 4, page 73.
In the traditional terminology of Islamic history, the first Muslim conquest of territory which has never been previously ruled over by Muslims is a fath, or literally "opening" (the same word as the name of Yasser Arafat's terrorist organization, which is usually spelled "Fatah" in English). In this closed world-view, non-Muslim conquests of Muslim-ruled lands are insults which must be avenged (or in modern jargon, degraded and corrupt colonialist imperialism of the lowest kind), while Muslim conquests of non-Muslim lands are glorious futûh or futûhât ("openings").

The Nasserite Red-White-Black Horizontal Tricolour Considered Harmful:
The recent (April 2004) Iraq flag proposal doesn't look very much like an Arab flag, and is really rather stupid in the Iraqi context, so it's not too surprising that it went over like a lead balloon, and is now defunct. However, this proposed change (whatever its shortcomings) would have at least accomplished one highly-laudable goal -- the elimination of the stigma of the Nasserist red-white-black horizontal tricolor from the Iraqi flag. This tricolour was a symbol of grandiose bombastic pan-Arabism in the late 1950's and the 1960's, and nowadays could be interpreted as basically a symbol of failure (considering the futility of such obsolete pan-Arab aspirations, and the current general conditions in those countries which fly this tricolor in their flags -- not to mention that it's reminiscent of the militaristic Prussian black-white-red flag of the 1870-1918 German "second reich"). The red-white-black horizontal tricolor is also a strictly Arab-only symbol, which excludes non-Arab minorities. In this respect, the Nasserist flags of some Arab states are a deterioration or retrogression backwards from certain pre-Nasserite flags. For example, the post-royalist pre-Ba`thist 1959-1963 Iraqi flag contained a sun symbol with a dash of yellow, to represent hopes of Kurdish-Arab peace, while the post-1963 flag is exclusively Arab in symbolism. Similarly, the pre-1970 flag of Sudan gave implicit recognition to the fact that Sudan is a multiethnic country in Africa -- while the Sudanese flag since 1970 intentionally and deliberately expresses the desire of the Khartoum political elite for an exclusive Arab monopoly of power, and so very consciously symbolizes the undisguised raw naked domination of Muslim Arabs over all non-Arabs and non-Muslims in Sudan. (Thus the main element on Sudan's coat of arms or state emblem before the Arab coup of 1969 was a rhinoceros enclosed by two palm-trees, while after 1969 this was changed to a Sudanese variant of the pan-Arab "Hawk of Qureish" or "Eagle of Saladin" visible on the current Egyptian flag, and in the coats-of-arms of a number of Arabic countries.)
In this context it would be highly desirable to de-Nasser-ize the relevant flags (notice that Libya has already de-Nasserized its flag). This should be made easier by the fact that the four non-Sudanese Nasserite flags have all been highly mobile, with frequent exchanges and interchanges between the Arab countries. Thus Syria has had three out of four of these basic Nasserist flag designs as its national flag at one time or another, while Egypt has adopted two or three of them (depending on how you count things, as explained in the GIF and PDF versions of the graphic below), and Libya has adopted two of them at different times. Of course, these countries may very well not see fit to readopt the particular pre-Nasser flags shown in the graphic, but the existence of these historical flags proves that Nasserite flags are not the only acceptable nationalist symbols (in fact, if there is a desire to symbolize state nationalism -- instead of pan-Arabism -- then non-Nasserite symbols would be much better).

The protective wall in the Qur'an (Fâlûs wa-Tâyûn)Red-Green-Brown Alliance Flag:
Here's an Islamic perspective on Israel's barrier fence (security wall): The excerpts from Qur'an verses 18:94,95,97,98 in the graphic below describe the building of a protective iron wall by Dhu'l-Qarnain (the two-horned quasi-prophet of Islam, perhaps Alexander the Great), in order to hold back the marauding barbarian tribes of Gog and Magog (Yâjûj wa-Mâjûj), who were committing "Mufsidûn fi ´l-'ard" (a Qur'anic term which probably was intended to refer to certain crimes of violence which, if unrestrained, would make ordered community life impossible).
As usual on this site, standard modern Arabic orthography is used (rather than special Qur'anic orthography). Also, the English text in the blue box is something of a "dynamic equivalence" translation (to allow felicities of English phrasing which a strictly literal translation would not permit).
In the January 27th, 2003 issue of the French newspaper "Le Monde", there was an article warning about the "Red-Green-Brown Alliance" ("L'alliance Brun-Vert-Rouge"). The graphic below gives my own personal interpretation of the Red-Green-Brown alliance, in light of the article "Europe's other red-green alliance" by Dave Hyde, as well as the following purported new (2/2003) quote from Osama Bin Laden: "Socialists are infidels wherever they are, but it does not hurt that in current circumstances, the interests of Muslims coincide with the interests of the socialists in the war against crusaders." The suppressed and censored EUMC anti-semitism report gave perfect documentation of this tacit "Brown-Green-Red" alliance in action.

A reconstruction of the Zanj slave liberation revolt banner:The "Imam Arafat" school of Qur'an interpretation:
This is a reconstructed version of the banner of the valiant Zanj Revolt, a movement which liberated many Black African slaves in southern Iraq and resisted `Abbasid Arab oppression during the years 869-883 A.D. (255-270 in the Islamic calendar). The flag below contains the first part of Qur'an verse 9:111 (which the Zanj interpreted as forbidding the enslavement of all believers in true Islam), the names of the Shi`ite Muslim progenitor `Ali and the Muslim prophet Muhammad (also containing an implicit reference to the leader of the Zanj revolt, whose name was `Ali son of Muhammad), and the Kharijite motto "Judgement belongs to God alone" (taken from Qur'an verse 6:57). A generic quasi-Kufi font was used in the graphic below, instead of making any serious attempt to replicate an authentic 3rd century A.H. Arabic script style. A complete website on the Zanj revolt is coming soon -- a preliminary placeholder page (containing all the graphics which will be included on the final site) is already available. On May 15th, 2004, Arafat ended a speech protesting against the 56th anniversary of the existence of Israel by reciting Qur'an verse 8:60, paying special attention to the Arabic word "turhibûna" contained in that verse. In the Qur'an, this word means "you will cause great fear", or "you will terrify", but in modern Arabic this word can also mean "you will terrorize" or "you will commit terrorism against". So the only reason why Arafat indulged himself with this feigned display of pretended "piety" was to give his followers a "nudge-nudge wink-wink know-what-I-mean" green light to commit terrorism. It seems that "Mullah Yasser" has just invented his own novel personal Qur'an interpretation in which the Qur'an actually ORDERS Muslims to commit terrorism!
Update: You couldn't write any worse epitaph for Arafat than the absolute truth:
"His death was a new dawn for hopes of peace."

The True Meaning of "Palestine":
Both sides are certainly committing crimes in the current conflict, but only the Palestinians are openly embracing a philosophy of raw blatant Immoralism, or "the ends justify any means whatsoever"; and only the Palestinians are shamelessly glorifying and celebrating their own crimes and brutal atrocities. Since the Palestinians don't have any realistic strategy for achieving practical success by means of their crimes, therefore the current pseudo-"Intifada" is nothing more than a meaningless nihilistic violence binge, and the Palestinians are really hurting themselves most of all by choosing to turn their "struggle" into a repellent Cult of Death-Worship and Child Sacrifice. As someone wrote in the Wikipedia article on the "Palestinian Islamic Jihad" group, "they have gotten so caught up in their narcissistic rage that they have lost the core value of humanity: the value of human life". The graphic below "interprets" the first four Arabic letters of Palestine so as to convey these truths.

Ibn Taymiyyah on the Islamic Sanctity of JerusalemMufti Haj Amin Husseini "Handschar" emblem
Ibn Taymîyah (or Taymiyyah, Taymiyah etc.) was a Muslim legal-religious scholar who lived about 700 years ago, and is the intellectual godfather of Wahhabism (the Saudi-Taliban version of Islam). In a little treatise on Muslim pilgrimages to Jerusalem, Ibn Taymîyah insisted that the term "Haram" (or Muslim holy-place of highest sanctity) can't properly be applied to Jerusalem at all (nor to Hebron), but only to sites in the Hejaz in west Arabia (including Mecca and Medina, of course). Nowadays, Muslims commonly refer to the Jerusalem Temple Mount by the term al-haram ash-sharif ("the Noble Sanctuary"), but Ibn Taymîyah would have almost certainly considered it blasphemous to apply this phrase to any place other than Mecca. And it's very noticeable that the Wahhabis of today (who claim to be the intellectual heirs of Ibn Taymîyah, and praise him lavishly and extravagantly) don't follow Ibn Taymîyah's declarations on the Islamic status of Jerusalem!
The quote from Ibn Taymîyah in the graphic below is taken from the article "A Muslim Iconoclast (Ibn Taymiyyeh) on the `Merits' of Jerusalem and Palestine" by Charles D. Matthews, from volume 56 of the Journal of the American Oriental Society. Ibn Taymîyah apparently also said much the same thing somewhere in volume 26 of his collected fatwas (except that he was less categorical about the "Wejj issue").
This is the emblem of the Bosnian Muslim 13th SS "Handschar" (خنجر) Division, personally recruited and incited by the Palestinian leader Mufti Hajj Amin al-Husseini, the adored idol and beloved personal hero of Yasser Arafat. I don't necessarily assign excessive blame to the average Bosnian soldier enlisted in this unit, since the Bosnians were in a very difficult position in WW2, caught up in the conflicts between the "ustasha" (Croatian fascists), "chetniks" (Serbian royalists), "partisans" (Communists), and the Axis powers, without any strong protector of their own. In this Balkan ethnic maelstrom, a great number of Bosniaks would have followed anyone who put a gun in their hands and scattered a few idle praises of Muslims and Islam their way. However, the case of Mufti Husseini, who travelled hundreds of miles in order to encourage Muslim support for Nazism, and to encourage the Nazis to kill all Jews (so that none would be left to go to Palestine), is quite different. This vile loathesome despicable war criminal remained the undisputed leading Palestinian political personality until 1964, died in bed in 1974 without ever having been punished, and is still unashamedly reverenced by a majority of Palestinians today -- including by Yasser Arafat! (Notice how Husseini's biography is carefully whitewashed at the Palestinian PASSIA site.)

"The true motto of the Pseudo-Intifada" protest sign:The True Meaning of HAMAS:
A design which expresses the fact that the current round of Arab violence against Israel is not actually an "intifada" -- that is, since late 2000, the Palestinian `struggle' has not been a popular uprising at all, but rather a weaponized semi-militarized campaign of armed violence, and furthermore, a campaign of armed violence which has never shown the slightest hesitation in intentionally and deliberately choosing to use its weapons in immoral and criminal ways (for further explanation, see the Suicide Terrorism is Self-Defeating and Islamikaze graphics above).
If the Palestinians were honest, they would wave this logo at their demonstrations:
This graphic shows the true meaning of "Hamas" as an Arabic acronym, in accordance with the vile loathesome despicable immoral suicide terrorism crimes which Hamas not only commits, but also perversely glorifies and enthusiastically celebrates, openly and shamelessly.

The "Shield of the Trinity" Diagram:
[Shield of the Trinity Diagram English] This has almost nothing whatever to do with middle-east politics, but every so often some naively-overconfident person descends on the middle-eastern discussion groups and insists upon regaling us with his attempt to refute the doctrine of the Trinity with crude naive pseudo-logic and the out-of-context citation of two or three isolated Biblical verses. As I have replied on the groups, the doctrine of the Trinity may or may not have some problems, but its understanding has been refined and developed by subtle professionally-trained philosophers and theologians for many centuries, so that shallow sophistries, superficial verbal paradoxes, and naive quasi-arithmetical logical crudities will never refute it -- and the traditional "Shield of the Trinity" diagram explains the idea about as clearly as it can be explained without resorting to abstruse philosophical theology. (This diagram, with its non-transitive anticipation of alternative logics, is a visual summary of the first half of the Athanasian creed.)

The Only Official Palestine Flag Ever:The Hezbollah "Hezb-e-Sheitan" terrorist flag:
This is the only official and fully internationally-recognized Palestine-specific flag (which was not restricted to internal use within a government department) that has ever existed. This is the "Palestine Civil Ensign", which was flown by ships registered in the British Palestine Mandate territory from 1927 to 1948.

I don't regard Palestinian nationalism as being inherently or essentially phoney, but it's still a historical fact that the idea of a separate specifically-Palestinian Arab national self-identity (as opposed to pan-Islamic nationalism, pan-Arab nationalism, pan-Mashriq nationalism, Greater Syria nationalism, local district patriotism, etc.) didn't really start to command widespread mass support and allegiance until after 1964. If the Palestinians would frankly admit that their separatist national identity dates from the 1960's (along with the new nationalisms of many countries which achieved independence during that period), then I would have few problems with that -- but when self-appointed Palestinian spokesmen insist on telling lies about so-called "Historic Palestine", then that has the effect of alienating sympathies I might otherwise feel.

The true nature of the Hezbollah terrorists of Lebanon is actually much more that of followers of Satan, rather than any kind of supposed so-called "party of God" -- not to mention that these Hezbollah terrorists are thugs and goons for the Islamo-supremacist and terrorist-supporting hard-liners within the Iranian regime structure. That's why I refer to Hezbollah by the appropriately Persian-sounding name "Hezb-e-Sheitan" (adapted from Qur'an verse 58:19). The flag below is much more accurate and appropriate than the official Hezbollah emblem, which rather tackily shows the first letter of the Arabic word "Allah" turning into a hand which grasps that icon of godless Soviet atheism, the AK-47.

Assadistan Alawite Royal Banner (True Syrian Flag):The UN Middle-East/Durban Hate Flag:
The true flag of Syria: The royal banner of the Alawite hereditary Assad dynasty (whose monarchs have been His Majesty King Hafez I and His Majesty King Bashshar I), taken from the French colonial Alawite flag. Since the Alawite (Nusairi) religion is a Gnostic syncretism with only a superficial façade of pseudo-Islamic practices adopted as protective camouflage, therefore according to traditional Islamic law, Syria has exactly the same status as Spain or Israel -- i.e. a land formerly ruled by Muslims which is not ruled over by Muslims now, and so which is part of the true non-negotiable "Dar-ul-Harb" and must be reconquered by Muslims as soon as this is practically possible. (This is why Osama bin La-Deen is constantly malevolently muttering about "al-Andalus".) Thus if Islamists pretend to take traditional orthodox Islamic religious law seriously but somehow never issue fatwas calling for the Muslim reconquest of Syria (in amongst their vitriolic vituperations against Israel), this means that they're merely guided by their own personal preferences, and are hypocritically inconsistent in their professed respect for Islamic law.A flag which symbolically expresses the trend and bias of United Nations Middle East policy for at least the last 28 years (ever since the infamous and notoriously racist and anti-Semitic General Assembly resolution 3379 of 1975, only grudgingly and ungraciously repealed in 1991), and which particularly symbolizes the facts of the 2001 "Durban Conference for the Promulgation and Promotion of Racism" fiasco debacle catastrophe (under the self-satisfied and smugly arrogant so-called "leadership" of that jerk Mary Robinson -- good riddance to bad rubbish, and don't let the door bang your butt on your way out, Mary Mary quite contrary!), not to mention the UN so-called pseudo-"Human Rights Commission" (at the name of which even buzzards gag!), where such noted havens of human rights as Syria, China, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, and Sudan hypocritically arrogate to themselves the right to vitriolically condemn and denounce working democracies. As Abba Eban once said, "If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions."
Newsflash! -- 1/21/2003: Colonel Qadhdhafi's Libya has now been elevated to the chairmanship of the UN "Human Rights Commission" [ptui!]. Newsflash! -- 5/4/2004: Sudan has been re-elected to the ersatz "Human Rights"[sic] commission despite actually being in the middle of committing a genocide in Darfur -- in accordance with the Sudanese government's very deliberate and intentional policy of destroying the political and family structures of all "uppity" non-Muslim or non-Arab peoples -- at the very same moment it was elected onto the phoney commission! Newsflash! -- 5/6/2004: A mere two days after the Sudanese re-election, the Agence France-Presse headline is Sudan "deliberately starving" civilians in Darfur: UN report!!!! Sometimes the United Nations intensifies and exacerbates its own typical faults and self-inflicted failures to such an extreme and excessive degree that parody would be almost pointless. A good quote by Barbara Amiel:

"The UN is rapidly becoming more of a force for harm than good. Still, if America pulled out, an unreformed UN steered by such luminaries as Kofi Annan and Mary Robinson would likely collapse under its own irrelevant ineptitude or be forced to reveal itself as a collection of quasi-Marxist and Islamist dictatorships with a few whey-faced Europeans strutting about."

Here's the Arabic pronunciation of this Non-Dhimmi Affirmation: sa-nuqaatilu min 'ajli hurriiyatinaa wa-lan nu`tiya ´l-jizyata wa-lasnaa saaghiriina. No to immoral suicide-bombing terrorist crimes! I was by no means unreservedly enthusiastic or gung-ho about the prospect of an Iraq war before the war began (I voted against W. Bush in 2000 and 2004, and I regard him as an inept blunderer in the international diplomatic sphere). But those protesters etc. who freely spew forth their anti-US venom and bile, but never condemned Saddam Hussein in the slightest degree, and nowadays never raise the tiniest objection to the nihilistic "the worse-the better" terrorism of the Saddamite-Wahhabite alliance in Iraq, frankly disgust me.

The Iraqi "Rebel" Flag:A better flag for Iraq:
Those Iraqi "insurgents" who proudly take as their emblem the 1991-2003 Iraqi flag with the words "God is greatest" written in the personal handwriting of that rather dubious and insincere Muslim, Saddam Hussein, might find the symbolism of this "rebel" flag even more appropriate to their cause (credit to Clowning Glory).Far better than any version of Saddam's blood-stained banner (which combines obsolescent Nasserism with the unartistic Islamic calligraphy of that questionable Muslim, Saddam himself) would be the post-royalist pre-Ba`thist 1959-1963 Iraqi flag (containing a sun symbol with a dash of yellow, for hopes of Kurdish-Arab peace). (For an SVG version of this pre-Ba`thist flag, see above)

Flag of extremist Islamic supremacism (Qur'an 9:29):Palestinian "struggle" (Kampf) flags:
An "Alliance Flag" graphic which symbolically expresses certain painful truths about about the goals and alliances of extremist Islamists (and about the petty despotisms and tin-pot tyrannies of the unfree Arab world which have arrived at an implicit "devil's bargain" with the Islamosupremacists). "For Arab regimes it is convenient to let the anti-Semitic [and anti-Western] propaganda flourish in order to divert the attention of Arab public opinion away from their own failures. A rulers' covenant of convenience exists with the intellectuals who can vent all their frustration on the status of the Arabs against the Jews and Israel [and America]. That is much more agreeable to the Arab governments than focusing on the economic, cultural and social failure of the Arab world." -- Meir Litvak
All the suicide-terrorist supporters and Islamo-fascists should wave this flag high and proud!
Flag graphics which symbolically express some painful truths about the fact that the Palestinians feel free to indulge themselves indiscriminately and promiscuously in immoral and criminal acts without limit or restraint -- and that they not only are unashamed of such atrocity tactics, but actually perversely glorify and enthusiastically celebrate such immoral crimes, and so are building up a nihilistic Cult of Death-Worship and Child Sacrifice (which is rapidly replacing Islam as the most widely-practiced religion in the Palestinian territories). All the suicide-terrorist supporters and proponents of "throwing the Jews into the sea" should wave these flags high and proud!
The design of this flag (with its appropriate mottos -- look at the JPEG at the bottom of this page for an explanation of the large Arabic-language motto) was inspired by reading an April 28 2002 Washington Post article; you can also go to AJC.org to read a long detailed report about Muslim antisemitism. The design of this flag combines elements from the flag of our supposed so-called pseudo-"ally" Saudi Arabia, and from the flag of the OIC, replacing the star of the Islamic star-and-crescent logo with a symbol which more appropriately expresses the world-view and goals of the extremist Islamo-supremacists (or "Khilafatistas") and fifth-columnists. Qur'an verses 9:33, 48:28, and 61:9 command that Islam be `alâ ´d-dîni kullihi "over all other religion" -- or literally, "über alles"! Qur'an verse 9:29 orders Muslims to "Fight infidels (including Jews and Christians) until they pay the Jizya (i.e. the protection money extorted from non-Muslim inhabitants of a Muslim-ruled state), and they are subservient (humbled)". Again, the excerpt from Qur'an verse 9:29 appears in standard Arabic orthography (not special Qur'anic orthography).Suicide Bomber National Flag (a commentary on what the intentional choice to use immoral suicide terrorism crimes really means); you can read on Amnesty International's website why terror attacks against non-military targets are war crimes. Murderers are not Martyrs!Islamic Jihad / Hamas Flag (the same, but with superficial Islamic symbolism). Since nowadays Hamas is becoming obseqiously subservient to Hezbollah, and Hezbollah is a tool of hard-line thugs and goons in the Iranian regime, this flag has appropriate Iranian-style fimbriations (visible in the GIF and PDF versions of the graphic). Go to the JPEG at the bottom of this page for a translation of the Arabic writing on this graphic. Murderers are not Martyrs! An explanation of the Islamist/Palestinian motto:The Wafa Idris Memorial flag:Message to a certain individual:
After having dozens of graphics linked to this page for over two months, I finally added my first JPEG; this image explains the Arabic "Uqtulu al-Yahud" motto included in many of the graphics above (click on thumbnail to see the full-sized image):

A flag symbolizing the fact that the Palestinian Red Crescent has in large part become just yet another Palestinian militarized terrorism support network -- ambulances have been caught smuggling weapons and fighters, and most notoriously, there was the infamous case of Wafa Idris, the Red Crescent suicide-bomber terrorist (and first Palestinian female suicide-terror criminal). The magnitude of the Red Crescent's direct contribution to military-terroristic acts is actually not all that significant -- the real reasons why I created the flag below were because the Palestinians' use of the Red Crescent for military-terroristic ends is so typical of the customary Palestinian attitude that they do not feel bound by any ethical or moral constraints in conducting their "struggle" (Kampf), and also in order to vent my feelings of annoyance at the outpourings of lushly extravagant Arab poetry and prose in celebration of immoral criminal Wafa Idris (similar to the infamous poem by the arrogant Saudi ambassador to London). This flag adequately expresses my contempt towards the Arabs' necrophiliac lust object of 2002, terrorist criminal Wafa Idris. In case you think the flag is mere hyperbole, go here to read a statement by Nazi William Pierce in support of Wafa Idris.
